Comfort Food

Ma-Maw Claudie's Bread Pudding
1/2 stick melted margerine
3 beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 TB. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups milk
4 slices loaf bread, torn up
Mix sugar and flour with a fork.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk to this and mix well with spoon. (no mixer)
Add the torn up bread, make sure all bread gets soaked.
Add to this the melted margerine. Stir.
Pour in a baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
(I usually bake it in a square cake pan, or double the recipe and bake it in a casserole dish)
This is good hot or cold.
