Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
~Matthew 6:25-34 (Words of my Lord and Savior Jesus)
HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion?
My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
"Let not your heart be troubled," His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

One of my favorite songs!
This was the song God gave me the other day. I have heard some amazingly talented people sing this over the years, and can hear them belt it out with such joy!!
Blessings and hugs, sweet friend!
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or even think!! What a great God! Remember, He will perfect that which concerns you!!
Please pray that this little health issue I am having is healed.
Joyful blessings,
Becky
My Precious Friend,
Isn't it a blessing to know that our precious Lord makes those single "footprints in the sand" as He carries us through those times when we need Him most. Interceding for you daily.

What a beautiful post, so comforting to anyone who is going through trials (and aren't we all, to one degree or another?)
May the words you wrote bring comfort to YOU as well.
