FOR TODAY

Outside my window...
The sun is shining, but it is a cold 22 degrees here. There is still a few patches of snow and ice scattered here and there.
I am thinking...
about how dearly I love our Church Family and that I desire to be a help and a blessing to them, as does my husband, their Pastor.
I am thankful for...
the break Cale and I got from school and a schedule, and for all the time we were blessed to spend with our family and friends since Thanksgiving. I'm also thankful for the privilege of homeschooling. (Cale worked up until Christmas Eve so he could spend extra time with his new puppy after he got him. We couldn't get Remington until New Years Eve due to his age.)
From the learning rooms...
School starts back this morning for Cale. He finished Life Management Class last semester and will begin studying Revelations today in Bible via ABeka dvds. He will continue studying English, Literature, Spelling, Algebra II, Chemistry, United States History, and French.
From the kitchen...
Omelets, coffee, and juice....Supper menu is Baked chicken, Dotty's green beans, baked sweet potatoes
I am wearing...
old faded (comfy) jeans and gray hoody.
I am creating...
several picture books for gifts.
I am going...
to our local Piggly Wiggly grocery store to purchase chicken for tonight's supper.
I am reading...
King James Bible, Three Times Blessed by Lori Copeland, Walking With the Women of The Bible by Elizabeth George, and Fit For My King by Sheri Rose Shepherd. (Yes, I have too many books going at the same time) I just catch little snippets of each one here and there!
I am hoping...
to lose 10 pounds before my birthday! (March 1)
I am hearing...
nothing except for the small electric heater that is in this room. (Library)
Around the house...
I will do several loads of laundry, straighten all of house, and clean both bathrooms today.
One of my favorite things...
is Cale's new puppy Remington Gauge George.
A few plans for the rest of the week:
just school, daily chores, cooking meals for my family, exercise, possibly a girls afternoon out with Noelle Wednesday.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

Hmmmm....... I'm trying to get things on the 'ol blog figured out and updated. I am sooo not techie.
I soooo wish I had known about home schooling when my girl was school age. She's nearly 39 now and I don't even remember anything about it back then. She would have been so much happier.
Have a wonderful week my dear.
Hugs,
Spencer

Great entry. The puppy is adorable. We are warming up a little here this afternoon. And finally we have water! I am washing dishes and catching up on laundry. And then a hot shower! I loved your comment about the love and care for your church family. It blessed me.
