Cale has been working on a chicken pen for several weeks.
And on that farm there was some chickens....

Three of the five hens.Noelle named the hens. We have Beatrice, Esther, Blanche, Brenda, and Evelyn. Esther is QUEEN of the roost! She politely scooted Mrs. Bea out of her nest Saturday! Cale brought the hens home from his pa pa's Saturday morning and around 2 that afternoon, he brought 2 eggs to me. I told him they were earning their keep!

My dream has been to have a chicken pen for several years. I just showed my husband the pictures and he said we would have one as soon as the weather allowed.
We always had chickens when Iwas growing up. Thanks for showing the pictures. maybe it will motivate my husband.
